When UK computer game developers Games Faction were chosen as the only company outside North America to win a coveted spot in Penny Arcade's 'PAX 10', an independent games showcase, at the world famous Penny Arcade Expo, they approached Design Depot to make sure their game’s point of sale looked out of this world.

The game is set in the turbulent Morphid universe and Design Depot’s brief was to not only make it look eyecatching to the judges but to also make this universe come to life and leap right out of the box. The incredible graphics created by developers Lee Hickey and Malcolm Reed, were taken from the game and turned into posters that reflected the tremendous battle scenes in a cinematic style. The DVDs and boxes were also used to create the atmosphere of a new world as well as to show US visitors and potential publishers how innovative and diverse Project Aftermath was. It also set the benchmark for Games Faction and showed that they are a key player in the emerging wave of indie developers.

Their game Project Aftermath impressed a judging panel of over 50 industry experts and saw them compete against the other 9 finalists for the coveted "Audience Choice Award" at the Expo in Seattle.
