FTSE 100 company Capita work with 22,000 schools and local authorities across the UK providing services to support both education institutions and government agendas. When Capita acquired a part of Northamptonshire County Council, Design Depot was asked to develop the Capita .ict brand to build on its success in the education market.

The brand had already been trademarked so Capita wanted a development of the brand into all their marketing communications as well as achieving buy-in from internal stakeholders. The brand had to be communicated across several channels including IT support services and government agendas such as ‘Building Schools for the Future’. Design Depot provided a succinct brand, with sub-branded sectors to raise awareness of the concept to completion approach Capita were providing to education. Design Depot not only developed a full range of literature but also developed the brand through van livery and branding throughout the company offices. This also translated into the re-design and development of brochures and newsletter as well as building a brand identity guideline document to be circulated to all staff.

Design Depot also worked with Capita’s strategic partnerships, such as 3Com, to develop a dual branded campaign to run throughout the UK that was consistent and sympathetic to both companies.
