The Oman Sail project is designed specifically to contribute to the National objectives as set out by His Majesty Sultan Quaboos bin Said.

"In a world of diminishing resources the focus is on an ecologically responsible sport. The personal development of individuals is key; self discipline, striving for success, working as a team, pride in their nation, and developing self reliance will contribute to the Sultanate as a whole."

So to the future - the most important aspect is to create the solid foundation of the sport and allowing the professional skills to be made available to Omanis by Omanis.

Design Depot was initially invited in 2009 to present our ideas and strategy for an entirely new website. The brief was simple, create a website that communicates on not just a local level, but also an international one, be of the highest quality and allow easy retrieval of information and images. The website had to be in Arabic and English. Design Depot was awarded the contract and at present is well on course to delivering a stimulating and professional site.

This has provided the starting point for a relationship that is now developing into a long-term design partnership. With a good basic understanding of Omani people, culture and their aspirations, we have been given the opportunity to look after and refine Oman Sails corporate identity and guidelines. This project will encompass a myriad of different mediums including; logotypes, marketing literature, websites and digital media, exhibitions, photography and image libraries, livery/clothing apparel and advertising.
